Pump and Run PG CJ Watson says he hasn’t gotten any of his messages from home but wonders who is calling after a stellar Big Time. Prior to the event, Iowa State, Minnesota, San Diego, Utah, Oregon and UNLV were on the list of suitors. Give it 3 days and the list will change and grow. We hear UCLA may offer soon. … Quote of day: “You’re and ABCD kid and you just had your shot pinned to the backboard?” Tony Squire said to Richmond Squires forward Shawn Harris. Rod Barnes and Wayne Brent of the Rebels watched Wilson’s game on Friday. …

Inland junior Richard Cobb has tendonitis in his knee and was a DNP on Friday. … Wake Forest head coach Skip Prosser has been actively evaluating PGs in Las Vegas and his assistant is in Orlando doing the same. Wake has done a super job in recruiting this year and for Prosser, making the right call on a PG is very important.

WI swingman Dan Grunfeld says Stanford, Tennessee, Wisconsin and the Ivy League make up his list. Tennessee and the Badgers have offered though that’s not the one he’s waiting for. Should Stanford offer, it would be over. The Cardinal is No. 1 on his list. … CT PF Dedric Spooner says Charlotte is the only school recruiting him right now. …

The crowd for CA/CT swingman Antoine Wright: Lute Olson, Texas assistant Brian Cousins, a rep from Tennessee and Walt Fuller and Tom Herrion of Virginia. … North Carolina assistant Doug Wojcik watched Darryl Watkins of Tim Thomas in the early session. … Coach K was in the house for Lee Melchioni’s early game. … Mike Jarvis II of St. John’s was highly-visible with Elijah Ingram. …

Cincinnati is reportedly in strong position with CG Chadd Moore but might not have offered yet. The Bearcats are trying to make a strong move with AL SF Kennedy Winston. They need a PG, swingman and big in this class. …

Tim Thomas SG John Winchester likes Seton Hall, Michigan State, UMass, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Villanova, Miami, Texas and NC State. Some schools are thinking of using him in a combo role.

Center Eric Davis isn’t sure what prep school he’ll attend next year. After the recent HBO special, Davis is having some reservations about Mount Zion. He has Michigan, Seton Hall, Memphis, Louisville, Rutgers, Miami, Charlotte and Wake Forest are showing interest. He’s a long way from reaching a decision. ….

UTEP likes Keion Kindred and Reggie Butler. Both would be good fits for the Miners.
